Paul Martin and Tyrrell formed Interfearence in 1996 with the intention of producing a totally unique musical sound; heavily layered and deeply organic. Their recording career started with a flurry of singles on their Electronically Enhanced label and an extremely well received eponymous debut album for Pete Tong's ffrr label. They then recorded their second LP "Take That Train" for the San Francisco based label Ubiquity Recordings and remixed tracks for Sneaker Pimps, CJ Bolland, INXS, Hybrid and Akasha. Their single "All Day" was included on the 'Human Traffic' soundtrack and can also be heard in the film. They also wrote and performed the theme & background music for the ITV show CD:UK. Spelling Clarification: Their first release was 'Emotionalize' on the Blue Note Club Culture album from 1996 when they spelled their name as Interference. They then spelled their name with an extra 'a' to make 'fear' in the middle of Interfearence for every release following that. Coincidentally, Keith LeBlanc & Tim Simenon had a project called Interference and Tyrrell's real last name is also LeBlanc (full real name being Joel LeBlanc), though he is not related to Keith nor were either Interfearence/Interference groups connected in any way.
