Discogs notice: This artist does not refer to a specific group of named individuals (such as a band or musical group) but rather defines the collective term for a fascist and nationalist movement and political party in Romania from 1927-1941. Originally founded by Corneliu Codreanu as "Legion of the Archangel Michael" (Legiunea Arhanghelului Mihail), often also referred to as the "Legionary Movement"(Mişcarea Legionară) or simply the "Legion". The "Iron Guard" (Garda de Fier) was originally a paramilitary branch of the Legion, whose name came to most commonly refer to the entire movement.
