Mastering Engineer known to have worked at Bell Sound in the 70s. Was the co-founder and Dean of Administration at Manhattan's Institute of Audio Research; authored several technology white papers for the Audio Engineering Society, and was a frequent recording technology contributor to dB and Billboard magazines. In vinyl runout, his involvement can be identified with a hand-scribed "I Diehl" and "Bell Sound."
