In 1997 signed the group a recordcontract at a small local label, that by producer Michael Hoogenboezem was approached. The band scored a national hit with "Voltooid Verleden Tijd", which won the contest AHC. With the song they also broke thru nationwide by the Dutch public. From 2004 this band is called IOS. In September 2008, I.O.S. announced that they will stop performing. In September of 2009, a final farewell concert in Paradiso was played. The final achievement of a band that truly will be missed in the Dutch pop scene.
