Isgalder is: Grimwald: guitars, vocals // MoPpeL: drums, keys. // Mephistopheles: guitars // Aussen Geist: bass. Isgalder was founded in mid-2017 by Grimwald and Moppel. We want to create different music, as we did before with our other bands, more epic and atmospheric. In the vein of old Falkenbach or Bathory, but with our own conceptions. Gradually our other members join the band. Isgalder is Old-High-German/Germanic and means „icy chant“ or „cold incantation“. After one month we released our first demosong called „Soaring Mountains“ at our YT channel. Shortly after this, we take a record deal with Naturmacht Productions. It is planned to release our debut album at the end of 2018. We thought, it is a good idea to release a demo or a short EP before. So we have some physical stuff for our listeners at our coming concerts. The EP “To the Hall of the Stars” was recorded in December 2017 and will be released by Hellthrasher Productions as a great A5 digipak CD (200 lim.) and a tape version (69 lim.) by Narbentage Produktionen in February/March 2018.
