Isis Gee (real name Tamara Gołębiowska, born Tamara Diane Wimer on October 11, 1972 in Seattle) is a Polish-American pop singer, songwriter, and composer. Isis started singing and performing at the age of 5. As a young child, she began taking private voice lessons and performing music. She was featured singing with various bands, choirs and singing groups and traveled and performed extensively. Live Theatre was also a huge passion for Isis, and she spent her childhood years participating in various live musicals. By the time she was 12 years old, she was earning money as a professional singer. Later in her adolescence, Isis won numerous singing competitions. Her most memorable contest was at the age of 13 when she won $1.000,00 cash along with winning an International Talent Competition in Los Angeles, California when she was 17 years old. The same year, she won a beauty and scholarship pageant (Preliminary to the Miss America Pageant). When she was 19, she featured on two jazz albums and was also opening for the legendary Tony Bennett. Later she began touring throughout Asia as featured vocalist with a jazz trio, as well as found herself performing with McCoy Tyner (John Coltrane, Stanley Clarke, Bill Evans). After moving to Los Angeles, Isis worked with famous song writers such as Steve Dorff who has written, arranged and produced hit songs for award winning artists like Barbra Streisand, Celine Dion, Whitney Houston, Tom Jones, Dolly Parton, Willie Nelson, Andy Williams, amongst others. In 2004 she married Adam Gołębiowski and moved to Warsaw, Poland. In 2007 she recorded her first debut album entitled Hidden Treasure. She is believed to be one of the first women in the business to compose, arrange, program, engineer and produce their own music. From 2011 she stopped using the Isis Gee alias and changed her artist name to Tamara Gee.
