Dutch-Antillean DJ, rapper, producer and CEO of Ganja-Inc Productions from Brakkeput, Curaçao, now based in Utrecht, the Netherlands. Born to a Venezuelan mother and Curaçaoan father, I$KI discovered hip-hop through his older brother who was a DJ at the time. Having played Cuatro, a Venezuelan instrument as a child, I$KI first took to deejaying, focusing mainly on Dub and Reggae/Reggaeton, he first made a name for himself spinning Bubbling, a form of speed-up dancehall popular in Suriname and the Netherlands Antilles, before taking on rapping at age 17. He formed a rap group called "Camouflage Dalinkwentz", whose songs got some local airplay, and joined a DJ crew called "Spike Sound" with long time friend MENA$A. Together they released a Bubbling track by the name of "Lancer", which gained noteriety among the local youth in 1999. That same year Menasa, Golsa, Nok Blok and Iski formed the group IMMO, short for IMMORALES, performing hip-hop songs in their native language Papiamento, gaining popularity across the ABC Islands (Aruba, Curaçao and Bonaire). In 2003 I$ki relocated to Rotterdam, the Netherlands, having released several mix-tapes and albums, individually as well as with his group Immorales on his own independent Ganja-Inc Productions imprint. He has since worked with the likes of Brainpower, Rmxcrw, DJ Chuckie, Tru G, Kalibwoy and many more.
