Single 1994 on Slask Records label
Hip-Hop/Rap and Pop
The basic tracks were recorded in Boathouse Studios in UK with some of the best Afro Beat musicians that played with well-known artists like Salif Keita, Fela Kuti, Ifang Bondi & Jazz Warriors. The main vocals, plus additional bass & percussion were added at Park Studio, Stockholm, featuring bass player Stefan Bergman on Fen Bey Faloo and Eric Forsmark on additional percussion. The tracks were mixed and produced at Park Studio by Per Boysen, Eric Forsmark and Dan Katz for Modern Tribe Productions and SLASK Records. Ousu Lion Njie died just a few years after this release, but his music has influenced many West African artists up to this day. The "Fen Bey Faloo" video - that was filmed mostly in his home quarters in Banjul - is the only known official video documentation of him. The title means "Becoming Leader Through Lies"
