Issa Bagayogo (born 1961, Mali – died 10 October 2016) was a Malian singer and musician who played the kamele n'goni (a six-stringed West African instrument). He maintained the griot tradition of singing about issues such as racial tolerance, regional pride, and drug abuse among youths, but in his own special fusion of native African style music with electronic beats, hence Bagayogo was given the name "Techno Issa", which what most Malians called him. He frequently collaborated with keyboardist Yves Wernert.
