Soprano vocalist from Prague/Czech Republic, living and working in Switzerland. Born in 1964, she studied singing at Prague conservatory and performed as first soprano at the state opera. In 1985, she settled over to Switzerland and continued her studies in Zurich and Biel/Bienne. After numerous further stations in Austria, Germany, Liechtenstein and Italy, where she was student of Gaetano Bardini, she started her career as soprano vocalist in 1990. She performed for a number of ensembles, but in 2011 she founded the duet 'Andiva' together with her husband Andreas Gottschalk.
