Classical trumpet player, trumpet soloist and trumpet pedagogue, born 1965 in Herrenberg, Germany. Jörg Günter studied trumpet at Staatliche Hochschule für Musik Würzburg, Germany. His trumpet professor was Helmut Erb. In addition Jörg Günter took masterclasses with Maurice André, Timofej Dokschizer and Max Sommerhalder. From these teachers – according to Jörg Günter – he received a lot of musical and personal impulses. Jörg Günter is trumpet pedagogue at Jugendmusikschule Steinlach, Kreis Tübingen, Germany.
