German accordion player and pianist. Straßburger studied musical theory at the HdK Berlin from 1972 to 1977 and continued his studies at Berklee College of Music in Boston in 1979. After finishing his studies he worked as freelance musician in the studio and as music director at various theaters in Berlin, Germany. From 1984 until 2001 he was pianist and keyboarder at the Theater des Westens in Berlin. Straßbuger is member of various jazz and jazzrock formations. Born 1952 in Berlin.
