A.k.a. Jason Rawhead
Drummer/Singer/Composer/Producer from Aalst (Belgium). At young age Jörgen Sonck played drums in various local blues/rockbands. Influenced by Kraftwerk and British industrial newwave bands like Cabaret Voltaire he turned very quickly to electronic/experimental music. Together with 2 friends he formed the Trash/Metal band Jason Rawhead. Jason Rawhead made 4 albums and toured around europe for about 7 years and was one of the first Belgian guitar based bands who were broadcasted by MTV. The song ' Black Box', produced by Roli Mosimann and remixed by Front 242 was a fusion between Metal and Raggamuffin music. After a musical break Sonck started to record electronic music again wich resulted in a co writing with Praga Khan for his Frame by Frame - Art Meets Technology DVD Sonck also co-directed and edited the short movie Island of Lost Souls and wrote music for the soundtrack.
