A.k.a. Edward John Hopkins

Composer and organist, born in London in 1818, died 1901. Hopkins played organ for services at Westminster Abbey at the age of 14. He was the organist at the Temple Church in London for 55 years beginning in 1843. He is primarily known for writing hymns. For the American fiddler please use E.J. Hopkins (2).
