A.k.a. Jonni Aromaa
J. Huimapää (real name Jonni Aromaa) is a Finnish singer, who started his career in the end of the 80's by singing popular songs from the 50's and 60's. His artist name is the Finnish translation for cartoon hero Johnny Hazard. J. Huimapää ja Tanssiorkesteri recorded one LP in 1989, Kun Kasvosi Näin, produced by Jaakko Salo. The band disbanded the following year. J. Huimapää continued his career as the lead vocalist for Sonora-orkesteri, singing together with legendary Finnish singers Brita Koivunen and Pirkko Mannola. In the mid-90's J. Huimapää performed songs by Kaj Chydenius together with string quartet Vaaralliset jouset.
