One of the true rarities of Australian vinyl. The planned release was shelved due to copyright issues and most copies were destroyed. The only known surviving copies have "DJ/Media Copy" stickers on the sleeve and side one label, and were sent to press and radio prior to the planned release. On the labels, the title is MUSIC FROM THE SOUNDTRACK OF THE FILM 'BAND ON THE RUN' (All caps, equal size.). A double album version by The Tim Gaze Band (with no J.J.
