A.k.a. Magnetik (4)
JC Culture (Jesus Christ "Our Culture") was formed by brother and sister, Nicos and Aliki Vouris who later change the name band in Magnetik (4) . Nicos and Aliki Vouris have greek origins but reside on Cape Town, South Africa. Their music bring a positive message of Jesus in Eurodance style. Their self-titled debut CD was released in South Africa and The Netherlands. The duo was invited to Holland to perform at various dance festivals. The main concerts were the Flevo Totaal and the Rotterdam Dance Music Festivals where Nicos, Aliki and dancers performed to a crowd of over 30 000 people. They performed along side the likes of “Six Pence None the Richer, Jars of Clay, Cameron Dante of Bizaar Inc., DC Talk, Kirk Franklin and Mary Mary.” Three albums followed and Nicos found himself touring to Australia, New Zealand and Europe, performing to massive crowds 8 months of the year. JC Culture was also nominated for “Best Contemporary Dance” album at the 2000 SAMA Awards held at the Sun City Super bowl. In 2004, Nicos released released under group name Magnetik (4) a dance remix of a South African classic “Man on the Moon” originally done by 80’s group BallyHoo.
