Argentine folk singer and musician (Santiago del Estero, September 25, 1955 - La Banda, October 25, 1991) As a good santiagueño he sang and danced from a very young age. Already in his youth, Cuti Carabajal related him to Horacio Guarany, his lifelong idol, who named him "Jacinto Piedra" and made the first solo recording possible. Jacinto and Peteco Carabajal formed the group Santiagueños that brought the youth of much of the country to folkloric expressions
