Total Time: 62:29 All works are world premiere recordings. The Gallagher, Nuorvala and Mageau works were recorded in the presence of the composers. This recording of The Persistence of Memory (In Memoriam: Brian Israel) was made possible in part by generous grant support from the Henry Luce III Fund for Distinguished Scholarship of The College of Wooster, R. Stanton Hales, President, and an Individual Artist Fellowship Award from the Ohio Arts Council. This recording of Notturno Urbano was produced with support from the Foundation for the Promotion of Finnish Music (LUSES). The Furies was commissioned with assistance from the University of Southern Queensland, Toowoomba, and the Toowoomba City Council's Regional Arts Development Fund. The premiere performance took place at the University of Southern Queensland in August 1995 with soloist Wendy Lorenz and the USQ Sinfonia conducted by Peter Rorke.
