Credits for Jack Hale on Trombone and before the year 1977, belongs to his father Jack Hale, Sr. Musician, composer, arranger, and producer, Jack Hale, Jr. (born in 1955, in Memphis, Tennessee, USA) has had a long and illustrious career. A former member of the renowned The Memphis Horns, he has played with a veritable who's who of R&B, soul and rock artists during his career. Hale's primary instrument was trumpet, but he also plays french horn, harmonica and keyboards. In 1977 he became the "official" trumpet player with the Memphis Horns. He became Johnny Cash's musical director at age 25, has also worked with composer John Williams (4) and several symphony orchestras, and for six years was chairman of the Composition/Arranging Committee for the Nashville Chapter of NARAS.
