This is primarily a spoof record that makes fun of the surf & hot rod scene that was big with teen culture on the west coast in 1963. Side 1 is all parody interviews with made up characters.(no music) Side 2 is a parody of a garage band battle called "Battle Of The Surf Nut Bands" the groups are all fictional and all the music is played by the same uncredited studio musicians
