Musician / Composer / Producer of Rock, R&B/Soul, Pop and Electronic
Guitarist, sitar player, composer, guitar teacher and producer from the Netherlands born on the 30th of April 1966 in Schinnen (the Netherlands), now living in The Hague (the Netherlands). In 1978 he started to play guitar and played in some bands. In 1983 he joined the band Avalon. In 1984 he started to study guitar at the Maastricht Academy of Music (the Netherlands), but he switched in 1985 to the Music Academy in The Hague (the Netherlands). In 1988 Avalon split after releasing one mini-album. In 1991 he started to work for the Hilversum Music Academy (the Netherlands) which started a collaboration with the Amsterdam Music Academy (the Netherlands). From 1993 Pisters worked in Amsterdam as head of the pop department. In 1995 he started the band Soylent Green which released one album and split. In 1997 he joined The Project, a project for charity. He also was part of a project called The Wishing Well. In 2000 Pisters joined the band of Keith Caputo and in 2001 he joined the band of Anouk. In 2002 Pisters founded the alternative rock band S.C.A.R. and starts his studio in Vuren (the Netherlands). He also advises bands like Van Dik Hout, Eels and Simple Minds about guitars, amps and effects.
