Jack Toney (born August 24, 1933, Sand Mountain, Boaz, Alabama, USA - died April 15, 2004) was an American vocalist and songwriter. In 1962 he sang with The Prophets Quartet. In November 1963, he joined The Statesmen Quartet as lead singer, he continued in this role until he left in 1969. In 1987 he joined The Masters V. The group name was retired in 1988, however some of the members went on to reform J.D. Sumner & The Stamps. He continued to perform with this group for several years until he retired from singing.
