Singer of Pop
Jackie Challenor is an English singer who started to sing in Folk Clubs in the late 60's. She had long, long blond hair and she sang and played Joan Baez songs beautifully. She had a band called "One Million People", and when it broke up, she became backing singer for Brian Ferry, Midge Ure, Pete Townsend, ABC, Mike Oldfield and Blodwyn Pig, as well as being in the chorus of various West End shows. She released a variety of singles in the 70's. Jackie died from breast cancer in 1998. She was married to drummer Graham Walker.
