Managing Director & Creative Leader at Moondog Productions Ltd. Jackie joined BBC Northern Ireland as a researcher/presenter in 1984, then moving into production full time as a documentary producer at DBA Television whose credits included POWER IN THE BLOOD, BBC ARENA (Dir: John T Davis). Jackie returned to the BBC to produce youth programmes including A-Z of BELIEFS, BBC2 DEF II. Following a short stint at BBC DAYTIME in Manchester, Jackie set up Belfast’s first weekly comedy club THE EMPIRE LAUGHS BACK COMEDY CLUB which celebrated its 23rd birthday October 2015. The club has and continues to play host to many of the best known names in comedy including, Michael McIntyre, Dara O’ Briain, Dylan Moran, Kevin Bridges, Jimmy Carr and Lee Evans, to name but a few. On returning to BBC Northern Ireland Jackie produced a range of highly successful and award winning comedies including TWO CEASEFIRE & A WEDDING, comedy entertainment programme PK TONIGHT with Paddy Kielty, situation comedy GIVE MY HEAD PEACE and comedy entertainment format OUT ON A LIMB with JASON BYRNE. In 2012 Jackie left the BBC for the third time to manage Moondog Productions whose credits include PPI Awards winning comedy panel show THE BLAME GAME and HEY HO LET’S GO! for RTE.
