Brother of Arleigh Kincheloe and founding member of Sister Sparrow & the Dirty Birds. Jackson Kincheloe was raised in the Catskill Mountains (Halcottsville), NY, by musician parents. Starting on trumpet and drums in grade school, moving to tuba, then tried the bass guitar and moved to a six-string guitar and mandolin in high school, he eventually stuck with the harmonica and joined his sister Arleigh when they moved to Brooklyn, New York and started the band. Currently his main instruments are Harmonica, Mockingbird Organ, Lap Steel, Mandolin
