Jacobus et Maleco, a high energy Hip-Hop/Rap group from Nova Scotia’s Acadia, is made up of three dynamic guys. Since 2001, Jacques Doucet (Jacobus) and Marc Comeau (Maleco) are featured on DJ Alexandre Bilodeau’s soundtracks, where they tell stories about their life and heritage with their Acadian accent, which fits perfectly with this style of music. After Maleco departed they renamed the Band: Radio Radio. It’s a new type of Acadian music interpreted by a generation of young creators: the first Acadian rappers. Their goal is simple: have fun and make people dance. Using their dynamic energy, Jacobus et Maleco tell stories about anything and everything and challenge the boundaries of this kind of music. Nobody else sounds like Jacobus et Maleco and nobody else has the same stories to tell.
