Jacquelyn Thropay began her musical pursuit at the age of nine by joining a local LA children's choir called Encore. There she learned the fundamentals of music theory,how to work as a team with other musicians, and she developed her ear for pitch and harmonies. From there she continued singing but also took interest in the piano. Teaching herself through high school, by the time she entered college she started writing her own music for voice and piano. She took off with the keyboard and that is now her main musical focus. Jacquelyn is contributing to the world of music especially through her role as keyboardist in The Ross Sea Party and Lost On Purpose, but finds her personal musical joy in her instrumental compositions.
