Jacques Morel (29 May 1922, in Paris – 9 April 2008, in Paris) was a French film and television actor. He was, perhaps, best known as the French language voice of the cartoon character, Obelix, in the animated adaptation of the comic book, Asterix.Jacques Morel died in Paris, France on 9 April 2008, at the age of 85.
