Jacynthe Carrier holds a Master’s degree in Visual Arts from Concordia University. Her work has been presented as part of many solo and group exhibitions including at the Fresnoy (France), La Triennale Québécoise 2011, the 8th Quebec Biennale, Centre CLARK, Galerie de l’UQAM, Gallery 44... Her work was shown by the Musée d’art contemporain de Montréal, the Montreal Museum of Fine Arts, and as part of exhibitions held in France, Canada, Brazil and the United States. Her work is found in many private and museum collections such as the Musée national des beaux-arts du Québec, Cirque du Soleil, Contemporary art museum, Caisse Desjardins collections, and many more. Jacynthe Carrier was nominated for a Sobey Art Award in 2013 and 2017 and received the 2012 Pierre-Ayot Award and the 2015 Prix Videre Création. She is represented by antoine ertaskiran gallery in Montreal.
