Classical violinist, born in Mumbai, India in 1963. Between 1986 and 1992, he was the primarius of the Mistry String Quartet. At the same time, he continued his career as a soloist, performing with a number of orchestras, such as the Oslo Filharmonien, Bergen Filharmoniske Orkester, Toronto Symphony Orchestra, Vienna Symphony Orchestra, the SWR Radio Symphony Orchestra Stuttgart, Philharmonia Orchestra in London and the Royal Scottish National Orchestra. He has been a member of the Ensemble Modern since 1994. He also regularly performs as a guest concertmaster with various symphony and chamber orchestras in Great Britain and Spain.
