Band,
Rock
A.k.a. L.A. Law (2)
Formed in 1980 by Mark DuBray, Pete Perotti, Ray Hitchcock and Frank Leo. Released 2 singles, a compilation appearance, and a promo tape all with this original lineup, before Frank Leo left the band in 1985 to persue non-musical career options in New York City. Founding members Mark DuBray and Pete Perotti relocated to Los Angeles, California in July of 1987. After finishing 1987 with Mike Williams (ex-Armored Saint, ex-Witch) on bass and a period of early 1988 with Jimmy Bain on bass (ex-Dio, ex-Rainbow, etc) they recruited singer Cody Montana and bassist Sam Bodwell. With this lineup they released the final recording under the Jagged Edge name, a 3-song promo tape in 1988. After this Montana was replaced by Mick Stone, and after a few months they changed the name of the band to L.A. Law. This lineup lasted until 1992 and was featured on the first 2 L.A. Law tapes, before Mick's brother James Stone replaced Bodwell on bass and Mick Stone was replaced by French-born singer Lionel Langlois. This lineup released the final L.A. Law tape, "Wild And Crazy", in November 1992. The band split up in 1993.
