Recorded at Intimate Studios, London, assisted by Paul Madden. This album follows on from 2003's release English Roots Music. The original plan behind that album did not include either live performances or follow up albums. However, the band/project had taken on a life of its own, and has subsequently developed a fearsome reputation for its fervent and ecstatic live performances. In an attempt to capture the spontaneity and excitment of the band's live concerts, this album was recorded earlier this year, 'live' in one take, going straight to stereo, utilising the talents of the band soundman Mick Routledge. There were no over dubs allowed.
