James Cruz is a Grammy Award winning audio mastering engineer and owner of Zeitgeist Sound Studios in Long Island City, New York. He started his career in 1995 at The Hit Factory. In 2000 he then moved on to work as a senior mastering engineer at Sony Music Studios, New York City, before it closed down in 2007. His next stop was Trutone Mastering, where he stayed for a year, before founding Zeitgeist Sound Studios in 2008.
