Artist Portrait

James Adelsberger

p, dr, perc, *1995
Musician of Country

James was born in northern Virginia in 1995. He began playing music around the age of seven on his grandparents piano. He quickly progressed to other instruments, specializing in percussion and drums. He took full advantage of his elementary and high school music programs and became a much sought after musician. In early 2012 met Roughshod Records Mike Johnson and was signed on as a studio engineer to lay tracks. His talented multi-instrumentalist skills led to his signing as an artist and on 14 November 2012 his 2-song country music CD Single was released featuring two Mike Johnson songs. "Back Home Again" with "The Holy River." On 15 November 2014 James' second release, a 13-song country music album "Old Time Country Songs Are They Really Dead And Gone?" was released. Both CDs are also part of the Library of Congress' Recorded Sound Reference Center's Mike Johnson music collection.
