James Gaden has been an Apple Mac Operator since leaving college. Once fully qualified and experienced in graphics and printing, he joined a company which specialised in reprographics for huge global brands like Philips, Heinz and Pantene, becoming fully trained in how to check and prepare artwork for every print process known to man. After two years of straining eyes measuring type size and ink bleed, he left (in his words) "shortly before I lost the will to live". The litho printers whom he joined following that tedium bought a second unit specialising in plastics and packaging. With his previous experience in this field and refusal to take orders from anyone else, he was soon promoted to studio manager only two years into his tenure at the age of 26. In 2005 he set up on his own, armed with a complete understanding of printing and artwork in general, becoming his own boss and quite successful since starting his own business. At present, he currently looks after artwork for several local businesses, creates Fireworks Magazine on a bi-monthly basis, Michael Ball's Official Fan Club material (which he states "is an honour and a privilege") and has done numerous DVD sets, CD covers, concert programmes… Check out his work for yourself in the website gallery.
