A.k.a. James W. Wirrick
James Wirrick, touring as Musical Director and guitarist for the R&B/Dance artist Sylvester in the 70's, scored his first top-ten hit in the U.S. with his song "You Make Me Feel (Mighty Real)." He continued writing and producing and was soon signed on as a staff writer with the Warner Chappell music publishing company in Los Angeles, CA. There he placed songs with artists such as Corey Hart, The Barrio Boys, Jimmy Somerville and Ce Ce Peniston, along with many others. In the late 90's, Wirrick began collaborating with Greg Adams. This led to Greg and James co-writing and producing Greg's first solo album "Hidden Agenda," and later the follow up "Midnight Morning." Wirrick's songs have also been featured in major motion pictures such as Eddie Murphy's "Beverly Hills Cop," Robert De Niro's "Flawless," Chris Rock's "Head of State," as well as in a recent final episode of TV's "Friends." To date, Wirrick has earned eight Platinum and Gold record awards, and is now a staff writer with the Spirit Music Publishing company in New York. He is currently working with Greg on his new release, and continues to write and produce music in Los Angeles, California.
