Single BE 2008 on Squirrel Liberation Front label
Electronic, Spoken Word and Classical (Abstract)
From The Squirrel Liberation Front Website: "'Prozac for your Heart' is Jamez Dean's song for Eurovision 2008. The selection jury loved his melange of ethnic, ballade, electro, pop, R&B, Balcan war and dance elements in the song. Everybody knew this song would win the Eurovision Song Contest. Nevertheless the jury rejected 'Prozac for your Heart' because: -they didn't like the choreography (too much Kathrina and the waves) -they thought that Jamez Dean's nose was too red for the Eurovision circus. Luckily lots of important artists supported Jamez Dean with his grief: "I FEEL ASHAMED AS AN EX EUROVISION WINNER THAT THEY REJECTED 'PROZAC FOR YOUR HEART'" Sandra Kim "WHEN WE HEARD ABOUT THE REJECTION WE WERE SO ANGRY WE COULD SMASH THE FACES OF THE JURY WITH OUR COOL INSTRUMENTS" Urban trad "'PROZAC FOR YOUR HEART MAKES ME FEEL LIKE A REAL MAN AGAIN" Dana International The supportlist goes on and on and on and on. By the way: yes, indeed 'Prozac for your Heart' does remind a bit of a young Johnny Logan."
