James (Jamie) Oldaker is an American rock music, blues rock and country music drummer and percussionist. He was born September 5, 1951 in Tulsa, Oklahoma. He is an exponent of the shuffle style.One of the first bands that Oldaker was a member of in 1965 was called The Rogues Five. The Rogues Five saw regional success and opened for other more popular bands such as The Doors at the Tulsa Convention Center in Tulsa, Oklahoma. Oldaker and The Rogues Five were a regular band on KOTV’s popular teen dance show “Dance Party.” After a stint in Bob Seger's band (on the album Back in '72), Oldaker joined Eric Clapton in 1974 during the recording of 461 Ocean Boulevard.
