A.k.a. Jan Roger Toftlund
Danish folk singer/songwriter (December 12, 1949-July 5, 1990) active in the 70's and 80's w a series of albums with a lyrical focus on the social outcasts. Debut album 1973, inspired by Bob Dylan, Leonard Cohen and his experiences as a nurse assistant and social worker. A bit of a hobo himself he toured as a folksinger and busker. After his debut he collaborated w. Erik Grip and Søren Engel before he started a longer collaboration with Dårskabens Hus Orkester for both albums and rock musicals. Frequently collaborated with Martin Andersen and Lasse Helner.
