JANUSZ MIRYŃSKI - violinist Born in 1947 in Cracow, graduate of the Music Academy in Krakow in the class of Zenon Felińskiego. Soloist and chamber musician. A longtime concertmaster of the Orchestra of Polish Radio and Television in Krakow and the Krakow Opera. He has performed in almost all of Europe. His recording of Violin Concerto "Chernobyl" (1987) composed by the contemporary composer Nancy Van de Vate was nominated for the 1989 Kussewitsky International Recording Award. Educator in music schools in Cracow and Zakopane. Soloist and concertmaster of the Orchestra of the Climate Tatra.
