Composer / Conductor of Classical
Czech conductor and composer. Born in 1939 in former Czechoslovakia, he studied composition and conducting at the Prague Conservatory. He worked as a recording supervisor for Supraphon and founded the Chorea Bohemica ensemble and in 1975 the chamber orchestra Musica Bohemica. In Czechoslovakia he was known for his arrangements of Bohemian folk music.
