Jason Lee Ward is a London-based DJ/Producer, born in Islington, North London. Jason spent his childhood surrounded by 70s Jazz Funk, Soul and Disco Music. His interest in music led to Jason spending the 90s scanning through London’s legendary pirate radio stations and inevitably discovering and becoming captivated by classic house and US garage. Along with music, Jason had a promising early career in professional football and came inches away from a full-time career. In spite of that, his passion for music flourished and he decided to refocus his prospects into carving a career in music. From 2009, Jason became a regular DJ on the London underground house scene and successfully built a solid reputation with party-goers and fellow DJs alike. However, in 2013 Jason decided to take a step back from life as a DJ to develop his understanding and skills as a music producer. Jason achieved his first professional qualification in 2015 after graduating from Islington Music Workshop with a Higher National Diploma in Music Technology. To date, Jason has released music on labels such as, Madhouse Records, i! Records, Salted Music, Purple Music and Solid Ground Recordings.
