Jay Bentley

b, bvoc, *1964 US, Wichita, Kansas
Musician of Alternative

Jay Bentley (born June 6, 1964) is the bassist and co-founding member of the legendary punk rock group Bad Religion. In 1983, just prior to exiting Bad Religion, Jay joined Wasted Youth. After he quit BR, he briefly joined T.S.O.L., but exited when original bassist Mike Roche rejoined the group. After his stint with T.S.O.L., he joined T.S.O.L. frontman Jack Grisham's new band, Cathedral Of Tears, but again, his tenure was brief and he left Wasted Youth shortly thereafter, too. He returned to Bad Religion in 1986 and has remained with the band ever since.
