A.k.a. Jay J. Adams

Jay Adams (born February 3, 1961) was an American skateboarder, member of the Zephyr Competition Skateboarding Team (Z-Boys), whose freestyle skateboarding was inspired by ocean surfing. His aggressive vertical tricks made him one of skateboarding's most influential stylists. Adams was inducted in the Skateboarding Hall of Fame in 2012 and died of a heart attack in Mexico on August 15, 2014. He sang for the band Second Coming on 2007 compilation Welcome 2 Venice.
