Artist originally from San Diego, CA, currently residing in Brooklyn, NY. Jay was in Gogogo Airheart from 1999-2003 and Golden Triangle/Xray Eyeballs from 2009-2011, and has played drums, guitar, and/or percussion live with various other groups: Tronics, Household, The Album Leaf, The Rapture, YOU., Castanets, Green Pages, Nightshades, The Truth Movement, Softboiled Eggies, and The Free*Stars. He released a cassette in 2012 and a 12" EP in 2013 of his own songs under the name Sapphire Mansions, who played their last show at NYC Popfest in June, 2015. Jay is currently recording an album under the name Solvent Minds at Marlborough Farms in Ditmas Park.
