Jay Hundert is a Rock and Indie Producer with his own retro Studio based in Tyrol (Austria). The Studios center piece is a 8 Channel recording desk by Tree Audio - The Roots. Outboard gear includes Manley Massive Passive, Maag, Slate Dragons, La2a, Rupert Neve MBP, Avalon, Chandler Mini Rack Mixer.... The Studio is also home of many vintage Guitars from 60ties and 70ties by brands like Gibson, Gretsch, Fender, Rickenbacker etc. Jay Hundert´s work as a Producer is known to be very hands on. Production starts with a Live setup in his studio where he works with the artist on the arrangement, melodies, the vision of the album, and sketching out each detail. The musicians then spend several weeks learning and rehearsing the new arrangements before starting with the actual recording process. During the whole process of production, artists and bands are provided with their own bedrooms, kitchen, living room and while situated in the Tyrolean Alps, with many opportunities for spare time activities. His Studio "Studio Hundert" is also know as a home base for the local music scene and birthplace of many collaborations, joint ventures, music- business and marketing coachings. Due to my vast collection of characteristic studio gear and Jay´s love for, lets call it "That Analog Sound", he has become a "Go to Guy" in analog Mastering for a fast growing niche of Bands, Producers and Music Lovers. Especially when it comes to Mixing and Mastering for VINYL!
