In 1977, as Punk Rock emerged from the bones of glam, glitter and 'heavy', Long island's James 'Nipo' Antonucci responded with the creation of Death Records, one of the earliest U.S. labels to release a punk oriented single, the now iconic "Death To Disco" by Jimi LaLumia & The Psychotic Frogs; the first U.S. single to use the word 'fuck' in the chorus of a song, an early pre- cursor of what was to come with an X rated free style rap at the end; banned by a major East Coast Record chain, rabidly reported on worldwide by major newspapers and music magazines; Death Records had arrived, and released a series of limited edtion vinyl 7 inch releases which are now expensive, always in demand collectibles now fetching upwards to $500 on E Bay, Discogs, Amazon, etc. After an amazing run, Death closed up shop..until 2018, when a duet between international star Jayne County and Jimi LaLumia joined forces on the anti-experimentation, animal rights anthem, "Leave My Pussy Alone", a studio product of LaLumia and the brilliant Mark DiCarlo : Death czar Antonucci heard the four version digital EP and was inspired to bring Death back to life with a super limited translucen pink vinyl 7 inch featuring the duet between Jayne and Jimi, solo versions of the song by both of the artists, and the rocking instrumental version by DiCarlo. The translucent pink vinyl will be a one time pressing of 350 copies.
