Originally from Northern Ireland, Laura-Jayne started performing from the age of 6 on local TV shows. She has been singing, writing and playing guitar professionally from the age of 16. Laura-Jayne’s musical upbringing allowed her to develop her skills as a phenomenal backing singer and harmonising is one of her many talents. In 2004, she moved to the UK to study Music and Performance, during which time she sang in numerous function groups and several of her own musical projects, including her self-titled band. Since then, Laura-Jayne’s career has seen her perform with some of the greatest singers in modern music, including Jocelyn Brown and Beverly Knight, and work with some of the most accomplished producers, like Ethan Johns. During the last 10 years, she has entertained crowds in some of the country’s most prestigious venues, like the Royal Albert Hall and the O2 Arena, and composed original works for the London National Film & Television School, Audio Network and Beatport. Currently, Laura-Jayne performs annually on the Young Voices Arena Tour and is one of the UK’s top function singers. As well as maintaining residencies across London, she also sings with upcoming 1930’s themed swing band, The Canaries. Laura-Jayne is known throughout the UK music scene as a professional and passionate musician whose drive for perfection is only paralleled by her sheer talent.
