“Wish You Well” is the debut EP from french artist Jean Castel. It is composed of 5 tracks written, produced & recorded by Castel. He describes this project to be “Very personal to him using a lot of symbolism and having multiple meanings behind certain words and images” He started working on the project after his former manager decided to part ways in September 2018. He explains “A lot of transitions were happening in my life at this very moment, in my personal life as well as in business. It was a lot to take in. I almost fell into depression but the music, my friends and family were here to help me. I put this EP together in a fairly short time and it’s the best representation of who I was at this very moment.” He adds “I chose Wish You Well as the title of the EP because I thought it was a good illustration of what I wanted to keep in mind while all these things were happening in my life. I didn’t want my mind to get caught up in the negativity.”
